As some of our members might have already heard, McGill administration has decided to modify the deadline for new students, both undergraduate and graduate, to pay their fall tuition. The deadline used to be September 30th, but now it has been moved to August 31st.
We understand that this might cause problems for those students who depend on external sources of funding, or for those who are waiting to receive their salaries to pay tuition. If you are in such a situation, we encourage you to apply to defer your tuition by following these steps:
1. Log on to Minerva
2. Click on Student Menu
3. Click on Financial Aids and Awards Menu
4. Click on Defer Payment of Tuition and Fees
5. Fill out the necessary information
We also have been informed that late charges will not be applied to accounts before September 6th.
