It’s McGill’s Disabilities Awareness Week: Still 3 more days of activities/workshops left!

From 23rd – 27th March, McGill’s Office for Students with Disabilities is hosting its fourth annual Disabilities Awareness Week in collaboration with McGill Residences, Media@McGill, SSMU and McGill Women in Leadership, TD Bank, Lime Connect, McGill Faculty of Law, McGill Rez Life and McGill Student Services. With its overarching theme “Inclusion” Disabilities Awareness Week advocates that people with disabilities should have equal access and opportunity to participate in society, whether it be through access to physical spaces, education, community services, employment and so on.
Come and join as we raise awareness of barriers people with disabilities experience, highlighting inclusive practices and policies that reduce barriers, widen access and value diversity in a wide variety of contexts.
