Are you interested in contributing to the student life of your fellow Education graduates? Want to make a difference in your program/department/faculty?
We need you on the EGSS council!
The following positions are available:
-President
-VP Communication
-VP Finance
-VP Academic
-VP Equity and Diversity
-VP Student Life (possibility to be co-VP as well)
-Conference Chair (possibility to be co-chair as well)
-Departmental rep (1 for DISE, 1 for ECP, 1 for KPE, 1 for MATL, 1 for FNIE)
-PGSS (Post-Graduate Students’ Society) reps (4)
-AGSEM (Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill) reps (1 per dept)
The first nomination period for the EGSS council will begin on April 4th, and end on April 15th, at 4:00pm. Please submit the completed form (see here) by email to egss@mail.mcgill.ca. The subject line should be as follows: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME- EGSS POSITION TITLE.
We recommend that you read our constitution before starting the nomination process. You can find the English version here and the French version here.
Below is the campaign information you need to know:
- All campaigning shall be terminated on April 14th, the day prior to the first day of the voting period.
- Posters size shall not exceed 28cm by 43cm and no more than 25 posters per candidate may be posted at one time.
- The current EGSS Council has set campaign spending limit at $50 per candidate. Please submit your receipts to the EGSS Office in a clearly labeled envelope by April 30th 2016
