Funding of up to $1000 (based on needs and yearly budget) for your student-run education related initiatives and events. These include but are not limited to symposiums, speakers, conferences, workshops and/or networking events.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) All members of the Education Graduate Students’ Society are eligible to apply for the award. This includes thesis and non-thesis students, regardless of their registration status (e.g., international, out-of-province, etc.).
2) Events are eligible to receive a maximum of one (1) Student Solidarity Fund award per year.
3) Awardees will promote EGSS as a sponsor/supporter of their event on promotional materials.
4) Awardees will send a report and proof of their expenses on their initiative after their event.
Required Application Documents:
1) Completion and submission of this Google Form: https://forms.gle/ksLEoSCgoPprsnCp7 In the Google Form, you will be asked to upload the following documents (PDF only):
2) Explanation of event/initiative and its relevance to EGSS and its members (Max. 1 page).
3) Detailed event budget. Please include any internal/external sources of funding, and the specific areas where funding is required.
